In the Quechua language, Ancasmarca means “abode of eagles”. This Inca site is located 30 minutes from the Sacred Valley, over 4000 masl (13,124 ft). This walk will take you back in time, as you visit archaeological centers and witness at first hand customs and traditions that city dwellers no longer experience. A 3-hour hike offers the opportunity to enjoy nature, and to share lunch with local people, as part of a memorable day.
